How to Update Aadhaar NPCI Mapping Online Through BASE Portal
Step 1: Visit the Official NPCI Website
Open the official NPCI website and go to the home page.
Step 2: Click on Customer
From the top navigation menu, click on the Customer option.
Step 3: Select Bharat Aadhaar Seeding Enabler (BASE)
From the dropdown menu, click on Bharat Aadhaar Seeding Enabler (BASE).
Step 4: Open Aadhaar Seeding / De-Seeding
Click on Aadhaar Seeding / De-Seeding from the left sidebar menu.
Step 5: Enter Aadhaar and Bank Details
Fill in the required information:
- Aadhaar Number
- Select Seeding Request Type
- Choose Your Bank Name
- Enter Bank Account Number
- Confirm Account Number
Read the declaration carefully and tick the consent checkbox.
Step 6: Submit the Request
Enter the captcha code and click the Submit button. Your request will be sent to the selected bank for verification.
Step 7: Wait for Approval
After successful submission, the bank will verify your details. Once approved, your Aadhaar Number will be mapped with your bank account in the NPCI database and eligible DBT benefits will be credited to the mapped account.
Step 8: Check Aadhaar Mapping Status
To verify the mapping status, click on Aadhaar Mapped Status, enter your Aadhaar Number and captcha, then click Check Status.
